L’Xpérience is meaning to Xperience the French life, to enjoy the beautiful country and mountains and the comfortable climate. It’s also representing the melting pot of styles of the rooms in this B&B. There’s a Japanese Xperience, a High Tech one based on New York sentiments, a Power Flower one and a real French one, representing the love for Lavender and country life. At last there’s also a Spanish Xperience in the garden. A beautiful independent room decorated with mozaique for which the Barcelona architect Antoni Gaudi was the role model.

L’Xpérience is situated in the French Ardèche in a very little village which is called Valgorge. It’s at 550 meter high at the foot of the Tanarque massif and is part of a natural park with fantastic views, authentic middle age villages and enormous mountain peaks.

GARDEN AND SWIMMINGPOOL

The garden of L’Xperience is 4000m2 big and is bordered by the river La Beaume which is hiding exotic swimming paradises. Next to the house is a small creek. So there’s always the sound of lapping water. The garden is a great place to relax, to read a book, to swim in the river or swimming pool of to enjoy the laziness of the hammock. There’s also a big loungeterrass with a breathless view at the nature. For guests who like to play the very popular Petanque or Jeu de boules, there’s a terrain in the garden. Rinell is a Xperienced massage therapist and offers relaxing, energetic, Thai and reiki massages on a amazing spot in the garden. The sauna opens on your demand.

Breakfast, lunch and dinner is served in the garden or cozy kitchen. Every evening there’s another spice/flavor making appeal to you taste papillae. Rinell’s kitchen is also a melting pot of the Xperiences of the trips all over the world. So there are Japanese, Thai, Mexican, Italian, French, Dutch and other spices to discover.

The owners

Rinell and Eric left their homeland The Netherlands and the busy never sleeping city of Amsterdam in order to life in the beautiful Ardèche. Peace, simplicity, astonishing nature and a nice climate tempted them to make the move. So they bought the old Colonies de Vacance and made their dream come true.

Rinell is also working as a pharmacist and Eric is caring for the elderly people. Rinell also started a small sportsschool and comforts people with sports-, classical, therapeutical and Thai massages. Starck is their biggest love. He is a now 6 year old Rhodesian Ridgeback who’s the prince of the family.
